The typical range is up to a mile per transmitter, depending on terrain. The EZPage has specifically been designed to meet the recommendations of the BS5839 with respect to connection to and sending messages from Fire Alarm systems. If this level of sophistication is not required then the LynxPro MAXPage desktop paging transmitter is an ideal choice.

The message is digitally encoded and is unique to each location.

It is received by a vibrating pager or the LynxPro Nite-Alarm.   

Any number of these devices can be supported

Effectively a vibrating pager or LynxPro Nite-Alarm acts as a substitute for the audible fire alarm sounder.

      

The use of on-site radio paging to alert people with impaired hearing of the fire alarm provides for their safety in an emergency situation.

As well as providing Fire Alarm coverage the EZPAge system can also be configured to send non critical messages as well.
